SMOU's swift response to the plight of the crew onboard MV Lady Belinda was warmly welcomed by the seafarers onboard. The Union was applauded for playing the pivotal role in getting back US$126,000 of unpaid wages for the 22 Indian Nationals onboard and its humanitarian effort of providing food and water to the stranded crew.
